My name is Eva, your host and co-creator of The Kickback MTL.

Featuring the best comedians in Montreal and beyond, The kickback is a Must Try Comedy Experience filled with animation, music, high energy, and the comedians hand-picked for you!

2 years ago my partner and I came up with the idea of bringing comedy and music together but with a little extra flair. 

We wanted to bring something new and fresh to the comedy scene, so we created this monster. 

Our goal is to create an environment that is more than just a show but a place you can come to once a month with your friends or even alone, discover some of Canada's best talent, meet new people, and dance all night at our after party with music by some of Montreal's best DJ's. 

We are exclusively inclusive. Whether you come in a group of 10 or are new to the city and are looking to meet new people, you have a place with us! One thing we can almost garuntee is that you never leave the Kickback without making a new friend.

I should warn you of our family tradition.. before every show, Micah, my partner, and I buy everyone a shot which we take 

together to kick off the show.

The Meaning behind the Free Shot: "No such thing as strangers here" 

Our signature shot symbolizes having a shared experience with people who you would have considered "strangers" at the begining of the show. We don't believe in strangers, they're just friends you haven't met yet. 

So get ready because it's going to be a blast!
